Octopus Flash-Drive found at P13 City!
YEEAHHHHH!! Mark Hoppus (Blink 182) and Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) chose Planet 13™ as the HOME of the OCTOPUS flash-drive in Australia!!!
Planet 13™ was named as one of the secret locations where the Mark Hoppus’ Octopus Drive, containing his remix of Fall Out Boy’s – America’s Suitehearts was planted.
So, what do Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and an octopus have in common? One wouldn’t think that much, but if you’re a part of the Twitter/Pickrset-universe, you might know!
In a recent stunt, Hoppus has remixed a version of Wentz's song America's Suitehearts and loaded onto a flash-drive emblazoned with an image of an octopus! Hoppus has confirmed that “only 50 will be made” of the octopus flash-drives, “then [he] will distribute one at a time” around the world…
Fans have been going crazy over the stunt, closely monitoring Hoppus as he tweets clues as to their whereabouts. Locations have included UK, Singapore, Brazil, Japan and Canada – In fact, one of the drives was found buried under life guard stand 15 at Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles, USA.
The latest location of another Hoppus-Wentz Octopus flash-drive was announced in Australia - Planet 13™ Elizabeth Street in Melbourne, Victoria! On Saturday, 16 May at 1.20pm, the lucky fan picked up the flash-drive, merely 14 minutes after it was announced on Mark Hoppus' Pickrset site!
