We The Kings - Check Yes Juliet

"Check Yes Juliet" is the second single released by We the Kings from their eponymous debut album. The song appeared as the "Free Single of the Week" on iTunes on February 4, 2008. It was also featured on The Hills and Psych. It was featured on a highlights reel during the broadcast of the Track and Field World Championships. The song is currently their biggest hit on Billboard charts, peaking at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band also produced a music video for the song. The music video portrays Travis (lead singer) as Romeo "tossing rocks" at Juliet's window. Juliet's parents do not approve of Juliet's relationship with Travis "Romeo" and therefore order Juliet to stay away from him. The video ends with Juliet sneaking out to see Travis perform at a house party. This song is featured in the game Lego Rock Band. This song was also used in the celebrity roast of Bob Saget on Comedy Central. It also appears on the movie Winged Creatures / Fragments (2008). Juliet is played by Addison Timlin. We the Kings is a powerpop band formed in 2003 from Bradenton, Florida, currently signed to record label S-Curve Records. The group released their self-titled full-length debut album in 2007, which peaked at #151 on the Billboard 200. Their second full-length album, Smile Kid, was released in December 2009, and the band has since completed a variety of tours.
