| Ever wonder how Music Tees got their start? In a nutshell, the term "T-Shirt" became an official word in the American English language in the 1920's (and it was considered an “undergarment” back then!). By 1955, it was generally accepted to wear a T-Shirt without another shirt covering it (I know, amazing right!?). Then James Dean made the T-Shirt super-cool in Rebel Without A Cause – where it became a contemporary symbol of rebellious youth.
|
| But Music T-shirts as we know them today really came into their own in the 60’s and 70’s. It was in those decades when Rock n’ Roll bands began to realize that they could tie dye and screen print on a t-shirt! And thus was the birth of the Music Tee! Could you even imagine life without them? |
